What this site does not do

This site itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels, or marketing scripts. Fonts are served from this website itself — visiting it sends no data to font or script providers. The one third-party component is the spam-protection widget on the contact form, described below.

Spam protection (reCAPTCHA)

The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish people from automated spam. When the form is displayed, your browser loads the widget from Google and Google processes technical data (such as IP address, browser information, and interaction patterns) and may set cookies of its own; this can involve transfers to the United States. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in preventing automated abuse of the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Details: Google's privacy policy.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA). When you visit, Netlify technically processes the data your browser transmits — IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type — to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because Netlify is a US provider, this processing can take place in the United States; transfers are safeguarded by the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses under Chapter V GDPR.

Contact form and email

If you write to me through the contact form, the details you enter (name, email, message) are transmitted via Netlify Forms and delivered to my email so that I can reply. The legal basis is the handling of your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or my legitimate interest in responding to correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your details are used for no other purpose, never shared, and deleted once your enquiry is resolved, unless legal retention duties require otherwise. The same applies if you email me directly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise them, write to hello@evakeiffenheim.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
